This inaugural event brings together a powerhouse of wisdom, knowledge and up to date research and evidence on children's behaviour and development.

Speaking on their areas of research and expertise, our presenters will support educators to add to their tool kit  and transform their practice.

This one day event will see 5 inspiring presenters take to the stage to discuss their area of expertise.

Meet your presenters

Trent Savill
trauma therapy consultant and director at complex care

Trent has over 12 years of experience working with complex and high-risk young people in the child-protection system, providing consultancy to the Department of Communities (Child Safety) and Non-government sector, intensive in-home therapy to children and families, training to carers and professionals, and coordinating residential care programs.

Sandi Phoenix & Dr. Louise Porter
children's behaviour facilitator & Child Psychologist

If you haven't had the opportunity to watch Sandi Phoenix and Dr. Louise Porter present together then you are in for a treat!

This dynamic duo are a force when they hit the stage together to present the Children's Behaviour Masterclass and the BESST Program, for school transitions. 

Together they will present on Children's behaviour and emotional development in the early years.

Dr. Kaylene Henderson
CHILD and adolescent PSYCHiatrist & Parent educator

Dr Kaylene Henderson is a medically trained child health specialist and one of Australia’s leading parenting experts. She is also a grateful mother of three zany young kids.

Kaylene is passionate about ‘translating’ research-based information into practical tips and sharing these with you – parents and educators – since you’re the ones who spend the most amount of time with our next generation!

Allison Davies
MUSIC THERAPIST

 Working within a neurodiversity framework that favours regulation over intervention, and sharing her lived experience of autism, Allison empowers others to use music as a tool for neuro-regulation at home and in the classroom. Her programs, workshops and speaking events have received international acclaim for their ability to enthrall an audience, deliver lightbulb moments and shift paradigms away from behavioural management and towards brain care.
