The Phoenix Cups:

You’ve heard about the Cups? Here’s your opportunity to see what it’s all about!

  • Explore reasons for children’s behaviour – even those that appear to happen for "no reason"

  • Watch a 40 minute recording of The Phoenix Cups - a story about Jayden & Sally (6.30pm - 7.10pm)

  • Engage in Live conversation with Sandi Phoenix from (7.15pm-8pm) for further training to consider new techniques for guiding children’s behavioural learning with the framework explained through the story using an analogy about filling cups.

Session 2: Online Workshop 6.30pm-8.00pm - Wednesday 5th December 2018

Explore the tools that educators use to understand children’s behaviour and guide their social decisions. Unpack common strategies used by educators to support children's behavioural learning. Discuss traditional versus contemporary approaches to supporting children's behaviour and examine their place in education and care.

Session 3: Online Workshop 6.30pm-8.00pm - Wednesday 12th December 2018

Discuss progress, successes and challenges you've had implementing The Phoenix Cups and make a plan of action for behaviour change in your context. Learn about supporting children with complex ongoing inclusion needs and reflect on responses to children during meltdowns.
